Gerolsteiner is Germany’s most popular mineral water. The source is situated 200 metres deep inside a volcano in the Eifel region of Germany, and has been bottled since 1888.
The water contains natural carbon dioxide and is rich in Magnesium (108 mg/ litre) and Calcium (348 mg/ litre). One litre of Gerolsteiner contains about 1/3 of the recommended daily intake of these minerals.
The Sprudel variety contains high levels of natural carbon dioxide while the still variety is lightly carbonated.
