Heppinger is a mineral water know as “Heilwasser” in Germany because of the healing properties it- so it's claimed- possess. The source is located in the idyllic village of Heppingen in the equally picturesque Ahrtal, and was discovered in 1588 by the physician Jakob Tabernaemontanus.
The water is especially suitable for sportsmen as it replenishes lost fluids and minerals in an instant. The source is situated at a depth of 400 metres. At close to 200 mg magnesium per litre (50 % of our recommended daily allowance), Heppinger belongs to one of the few waters in the world that contain true magnesium.
