Every year a great designer is elected for the new Evian "end of the year" bottle. This year the honor goes to the creator of the miniskirt, André Courrèges.
This French designer opened his own fashion house in 1961, he became popular for his original, almost alien designs. André Courrèges chose for a design on the Evian bottle with a "positive touch". The fresh design (flower-forms he has designed in 1967) brings a positive feeling and differs from the series.
In 2000 Evian introduced the Millennium bottle which was a huge success worldwide. This drop-shaped bottle is now legendary. Since then every year follows a specially designed bottle. These special editions are seen as true collectors items.
