Tönissteiner mineral water surfaces in the Eifel region, where the distinctive conical volcanic mountains shape the horizon. The Romans already enjoyed this water at the beginning of the Christian era. The water was already renowned for its beneficial properties in the 16th century.
The name is thought to have been derived from the nearby convent at the time, which was named after the holy Saint Anthony. Tönissteiner is a delicious water of unique uniform mineral composition with a sodium, calcium and magnesium content of between 100 and 170 mg.
